Press Release 11/2/17
(Kent, Connecticut) – While the Book Sale Committee is taking a recess, the holiday elves have moved into the Library with a wonderful shopping opportunity until Saturday, December 30.
Holiday boutique organizer Eve Iselin says, “There’s a holiday spirit making a home in the Library. There are quality children’s books, coffee table books, scarves, jewelry, quilted items, cards, glassware, ceramics, stocking stuffers, and knick-knacks suitable for giving this holiday season.”
“I know the Library is the last place you’d think of to do your shopping, but this boutique that the Library magically creates overnight, has become somewhat well-known,” remarks marketing & special events director Lucy C. Pierpont.
All proceeds go to the Library’s operating budget. The boutique will be open during regular Library hours, Monday – Friday 10-5:30 and Saturday 10-4.
