STAR WARS JEDI TRAINING COMING TO KENT!

(Kent, Connecticut) – On Saturday, December 23 at 11:00 a.m., Kent Memorial Library is presenting Star Wars Jedi Training at the Kent Community House, 93 North Main Street in Kent.
The Library is training new recruits to fight against the Dark Side! Come try out the Jedi obstacle course, make a simulated light saber, enjoy a delicious Jedi treat, and take a picture in the Star Wars photo booth. Plus, a live demonstration of Jedi martial arts by Ju Long Wushu Kung Fu School from South Windsor, complete with costumes and functioning light sabers. Blending performance, instruction, and explanation, they’ll be flying through the air, just like the Star Wars movies!
“Star Wars fanatics of all ages will love this program! We have been planning for months to tie this in with the latest Star Wars movie release, so come on down to enjoy the show,” reports director of children’s services, Sarah Marshall.
