In conjunction with the Library’s 100th birthday, six readers will present a staged reading of the Library’s creation with actual contemporary accounts of Kent legends such as Mary Bacon, Orinda Pratt and Helen Roberts Bull, and explain how it came to be called the Kent Memorial Library. The reading was compiled and written by Georgianne Ensign Kent and directed by Jane Farnol. Readers include: Katherine Almquist, Herman Compton, Ryan Foote, Joanna Tucker, Lyra Wilder, and Douglas Worthington. St. Andrew’s Parish House, Kent, 1 North Main Street. A reception will follow.
