(Kent, Connecticut) – Join Kent Memorial Library in welcoming style guru and TV personality Clinton Kelly to Kent on Saturday, April 25 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kent Community House, 93 North Main Street, Kent. Kelly’s topic, Style – Confidence Connection, is about how one’s personal style and self-confidence are intertwined, and how improving one affects the other.
Admission is $20 per person and available by going to the Library website or registering at the Library. Seats are limited! There are no reserved seats and no refunds. For more information call the Library at 860-927-3761.
Included in the admission price is a chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree/style makeover in New York City with Clinton as your personal stylist for the day. Extra chances to win the shopping spree are only $10 for attendees.
Shopping spree will be scheduled at a mutually agreeable time. You must be present to win. Transportation is the responsibility of the winner. All proceeds to benefit the Library.
Clinton Kelly is a television host and personality, author, entrepreneur, and one of North America’s most famous personal stylists. Via his popular TV shows and books, Clinton’s candid advice helps people achieve their authentic style inside and out. Best known for seven seasons as the Emmy-winning host of ABC’s daytime hit, The Chew, Clinton is also widely regarded for his decade co-hosting What Not to Wear, TLC’s iconic makeover show.
Between The Chew and What Not to Wear, Clinton has been seen by millions of viewers —capturing their hearts and re-imagining their style. Fans of the hybrid cooking/talk show, The Chew also enjoyed Kelly’s lighthearted interviews with celebrity guests, cocktail recipes, and entertaining tips. During more than 300 episodes of What Not to Wear, Clinton dished out candid style advice with his signature sense of humor. What Not to Wear is widely considered one of the most successful makeover shows of all time. He is the author of Freakin’ Fabulous, Freakin’ Fabulous on a Budget, Oh, No She Didn’t and I Hate Everyone Except You, his critically acclaimed collection of personal essays. Before entering the world of television, Clinton was a New York-based magazine editor and freelance writer. He received a Master’s in Journalism from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s in Communications from Boston College.
