Get to Know the American Mural Project. Join us immediately following the Kent Library Association Annual Meeting at the Town Hall in Kent for this talk by Amy Wynn, executive director of the American Mural Project (AMP). Amy will share an overview of the organization, its mission to honor work and inspire the next generation of workers, and the many programs and activities currently happening and planned for the future. We will hear some of the exciting stories of how the three-dimensional mural, measuring 120 feet long and five stories high, came to be and how it landed in Winsted. The Library plans on organizing a group trip to see the AMP in the spring.
