This program looks specifically at the story of dinosaur evolution in the greater context of the History of Life on Earth. Participants will look at real dinosaur fossils and museum-quality casts to follow the evolution of dinosaurs throughout the Mesozoic Era, culminating in the evolution of modern birds. The patterns in dinosaur evolution will be compared to the adaptations employed by living animals to determine if there are patterns in evolution. Finally, these same observations will be applied to make predictions about what some dinosaurs might look like today had they not gone extinct! Join us in the Reading Room for this fascinating program on dinosaurs and their survival adaptations with Jurassic Classroom.

This program is intended for teens and adults, but is open to all ages. Registration is appreciated. Please email us (kmljuniorroom@biblio.org) for more information or register online.
