Fall into Winter – Art Exhibit by Christine Lombardi
For Christine Lombardi, creating art has always come naturally. At the tender age of 2, she began a love affair with drawing which continues to this day. Inspired by children’s book illustrators such as Richard Scarry, Eloise Wilkin and Joan Walsh Anglund, Christine creates finely detailed drawings with heartwarming content, and particularly enjoys making greeting cards.
Currently residing in Bethel, CT, she was born in nearby Danbury, where she studied at Western CT State University. It was there that she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design. Decades later, she rediscovered painting and found it to be a wonderful outlet for her creativity. Christine has particularly enjoyed painting ocean scenes, yet is eager to paint various other themes, working primarily in acrylics. Looking ahead, she anticipates learning new techniques and artistic mediums as she continues to explore the visual arts.
