Congratulations to our Winter Reading Contest Winner, Susan Makarewich!

Former Kent Center School teacher, Susan Makarewich, won the Winter Reading for Adults Contest. All adults were invited to warm up with a good book this winter and win a chance at a book bag filled with tea, two KML mugs, pens, a puzzle, and a $50 Visa card! Adults filled out a ticket for each book they read or listened to (including ebooks). The winning ticket was drawn on Thursday, February 28th.

 

The total number of patrons participating in this contest was 34. The total number of books read was 160.

(Kent, Connecticut) –The weather might be frightful outside but we will keep you warm and happy inside with good books, audio books and of course, a warm welcome!

Beginning on Wednesday, January 9, all adults are invited to warm up with a good book this winter and win a chance at a book bag filled with tea, 2 KML mugs and a $50 Visa card! Adults will fill out a ticket for each book they read or listen to (including eBooks). The winning ticket will be drawn on Thursday, February 28. The more books you read or listen to, the better chances you have at winning the prize.

The Kent Memorial Library’s mission is to enrich the lives of individuals and the community by providing materials, programs, and services to encourage reading, learning and imagination. The Library is located at 32 North Main Street, Kent, Connecticut.
