RAY OLSEN’S “WILDERNESS OF NEW ENGLAND” @ KML

Press Release 1/27/20

(Kent, Connecticut) – The Kent Memorial Library is pleased to announce that Cornwall Bridge artist Ray Olsen will have his work displayed in the Library’s Gallery from March 2 through April 29 in an exhibit titled “Wilderness of New England.”

Ray has been an artist his whole life. He has been drawing since the age of five and has always been inspired to draw everything he sees.  He graduated from Parsons School of Design in the 60s and has always made a living from his art. His paintings and etchings have been exhibited all over New England and New York. New England landscapes have always been his inspiration. Ray has taught adult Ed Art classes for over 6 years. He enjoys teaching students that have “always wanted to take a class, but never seemed to have the time.” Ray likes using the bright colors of nature and he finds that acrylic paint on stretched canvas bring out the best results.
