Sowing Justice: An Evening with farmers of Rock Steady Farm & Flowers
The Kent Memorial Library is honored to host Sowing Justice, a special event with Rock Steady Farm & Flowers on Wednesday, April 28th at 7 p.m. on Zoom.
Rock Steady is an LGBTQIA+ owned and operated cooperative farm, rooted in social justice, growing sustainable vegetables in Millerton, NY. They are dedicated to providing affordable, accessible food using holistic, regenerative farming practices, while working to increase equity in the food system and create safer spaces for queer and BIPOC farmers to thrive.
“This is an opportunity for our communities to come together and have a conversation not only about sustainable and accessible food, but creating truly inclusive and safe spaces for all marginalized people” said Brittany McAllister, Adult Programming Director for KML.
