Filing for the 2024tax period will begin January 24, 2025. The IRS will not be providing printed instruction booklets and forms to libraries as in the past.
You can get copies of all forms and instructions free through the mail by going to https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/order-products It will take between 7-15 days to receive the forms by mail.
If you don’t want to wait you can view, download, and print them online by going to the IRS website.https://www.irs.gov/forms-instructions
Additionally ,we will no longer have Connecticut CT-1040 tax forms and instruction booklets in the Library. They may be obtained by going to https://portal.ct.gov/DRS/DRS-Forms/Forms/DRS-Forms
