WE ARE OPEN, BUT CAN’T HAVE YOU INSIDE YET!  Patrons cannot enter the Library, BUT we are open to circulate books, DVDs and more. Please call or email the Library to make your selections then make an appointment to pick them up curbside. Knocking on the door works, too!

Since November 20, the Kent Memorial Library has been closed until further notice. Staff is available by phone and/or email from 10:00 a.m to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m.

The Library continues curbside service for checkouts. Patrons may continue to use online services like hoopla, Overdrive, RBDigital Streaming with your Library card. All other online resources are available and if you should have any questions, please feel free to call the Library at the hours mentioned above. The Library’s busy virtual program schedule with both live and recorded events also continues. The book drop is open. And outside of the Library, the wifi is extremely strong.

The Library’s Board of Directors’ are using the guidance: Daily Data Report provided by the State of Connecticut that puts Kent in “red.” Kent’s cases have doubled in the past week. Once the town goes back to orange or yellow KML will reevaluate opening the building to patrons and reinstating the appointment system.

Please sign up for Wowbrary to see what’s new.  You can search the collection, there, too.

We are taking Book Sale donations also by appointment. A phone call upon your arrival at appointment time is requested. We are accepting books only during open hours.
