Homeowners are invited to attend a free informational workshop on the Connecticut Green Bank’s Smart‑E Loan program which is designed to make energy efficiency and home upgrades more affordable. This workshop is being co-sponsored by the Kent Sustainability Team and the Kent Memorial Library.

 At this hybrid session, participants will learn how Smart‑E Loans provide low-interest, flexible financing with fixed monthly payments and no money down options to support a wide range of home energy-related and resiliency upgrades, including insulation, heating and cooling systems, solar, windows, floodproofing, wells, septic systems and more. 

 Bill Colonis, Associate Director of the Smart-E program, will walk through eligibility requirements, the application process, and how to connect with participating contractors and lenders. Connecticut homeowners in owner-occupied 1–4 unit properties are encouraged to attend and learn more.
